Very small batch rye whiskey made from heirloom grains. Our only "farm-to-bottle whiskey", the distillers are 4th generation farmers and grow and harvest the grains themselves. Finished in Pedro-Ximenez sherry and Cognac casks for a subtle richness and bright spice. This is very different from a traditional Kentucky-style rye whiskey, and a perfect example of the kind of amazing variety a small, craft producer can create.
Tasting Notes: Toasted grain, brown sugar, orange zest, earthy cinnamon, bright woodspice.
